Hardin, IL here we come... or are... or whatever.

An early rise and the generator started.  That's good.   Our group from Hammond joined us again (plus or minus a few) and we cruised further south.
We decided to run fast for a little while and we're cruising 20mph when one of the boats (using autopilot) double clicked -10 instead of -1.   Ie:  turn left 20 degrees RIGHT NOW.    That could have been bad.   Fortunately he quickly figured out what he did, throttled down and avoiding running into shore on plane.   Crisis averted (although I'm told some words might have been exchanged).   Another beautiful day at the water.   We finished in Hardin IL at Mel's Illinois River Dock Restaurant for some of the best brisket, baked potato and salad I've ever had.   Plus some Dutch apple pie ala mode.   I'm stuffed.   (Sorry no food pics)
There is a fur trader reenactment being performed this weekend.
I think it's really a party in disguise.   But they do have tents and a smelly campfire.
Big wind tying up and little help - but we managed.  Later we moved our boat when there was room with the help of boating friends.   All set in Hardin for the night.   I might add some pictures later as the sun gets closer to setting.
